Dear Sir, Dear Miss,
We are a team of teachers from the north of France, at Jacquard High School in Caudry (“lycée Jacquard” if you want to make a web research) and we have built an Erasmus project because we want our students to improve their mobility and their professional experience abroad.
With the team of teachers, we prepare our students for a professional diploma, the equivalent of the B-Tech and they have training periods to do during their three-year curriculum.
Since 3 years, we sent some students in Mechanical Engineering for one month training period in Sussex, in firms like NovaRacing, Travine, Venture Engineering Precision, DSA Products for example…
You could see some pictures of these trips on our web site by this link: http://www.lyceecaudry.fr/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=148&Itemid=266
As I said, our project is linked to the Erasmus one. The training period is free. Erasmus give us some fees to rent a car, rent a cottage, pay the food and do some cultural trips during the training period. A teacher stay with the students, they are never alone. We live with them, drop off the pupils and we pick up them at the firms at the end of the day. By this way we keep the link between the firm and us all the month long.
This year, we want to develop this opportunity with a group of IT system students.
4 of them are motivated to go to UK. With my colleagues, we went many times in Sussex to find new partners and we have found two companies to welcome two of them: ABCOM IT Solutions in Burgess Hill and a PC Repair company in Brighton.
We knocked at every door because we are very determined but, today, after many days of research, we still need 2 more partners. We called and wrote to many firms near Haywards Heath (where the house is that we will rent) but unfortunately, we still haven’t found a positive answer.
It’s now a little bit urgent because these are the dates of the next training periods for our students in IT: from January 7th to February 1st (4 weeks).
We have found a cottage, a car and have some fees to let them do this great experience. They are very motivated so we just need two more firms which would trust us and help us to finalize the project.
They are 16 or 17, they are in the second level of their three year diploma and they are in an European section. They work in different fields in Electronics:
– Audiovisual and multimedia installation
– Professional audiovisual installation
– Electricity ( they are trained in electrical habilitation )
– Home appliance installation
– Domestic installation
– Computer installation ( hardware and software )
– Network installation ( computer network, telephone network, video network )
– Security installation (alarm, video protection, access control …)
They already have a six weeks period experience in a French IT company.
If you are interested to welcome one or two of our students in January please let me know. It would be great to work with you!
We are available at any time if you have any questions. You can contact us to +33686622645 (Fanny mobile number) and by email at email@example.com
Thank you for your time and consideration.

"As the local hospice for the area, it’s great that we receive so much support from the BHBPA. Last year the members raised an amazing £2150 through activities such as Bake Off and the BHBiz Awards. Each well planned members meeting enables good networking opportunities and speakers that are relevant to the present climate and local issues. We are proud to be members of BHBPA."
"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "
"If Carlsberg did networking they would do it the BHBPA way. Each event is packed with great ideas, thought provoking presentations and fun. As a small business we feel supported and part of the community. We have built friendships and business relationships and there is always plenty of advice on hand to benefit us all so don’t hesitate to join whatever the nature of your business. "
"The BHBPA is an energetic and vocal organisation that connects and empowers and informs the local business community acting as an effective conduit to local authority and other organisations. We are proud to be part of that community and the association."
