Healthwatch Burgess Hill Engagement and Listening Tour 2018

Healthwatch West Sussex want to make local health and social care services better for people that use them. To do that, we talk to people, listen to what you tell us and share this anonymously with those who make decisions about our health and care services.

You might have seen us out and about in Burgess Hill, finding out how local health and care services work for people and how they could be improved. We want to know how health and care needs affect working age people and their families and what support they need. We’d be happy to come to your business to talk to your staff. We won’t take up much time and we’ll even bring biscuits!

As well as listening, Healthwatch provides free information and guidance plus a free Independent Health Complaints Advocacy if you need help with an NHS complaint or practical support. Just call 0300 012 0122, email helpdesk@healthwatchwestsussex.co.uk, or visit our website www.healthwatchwestsussex.co.uk.

We can help support you. Just ask…

We are here to listen, take action and influence positive change for people living and working in West Sussex. Healthwatch is transparent and independent, with the authority to demand action. Together we speak louder.

To be involved, please contact Caroline Whiteman 07580330416 or contact Healthwatch West Sussex on 0300 012 0122  www.healthwatchwestsussex.co.uk

Testimonials

"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""

Peter Hook, Manager
(Computer Systems Engineers)

"Regular, well organised events, excellent updates and information by email along with a warm welcome from the Chair and Coordinator are just some of the positives at BHBPA."

Mike Oliver, Owner
(Mike Oliver Associates)

"As the local hospice for the area, it’s great that we receive so much support from the BHBPA. Last year the members raised an amazing £2150 through activities such as Bake Off and the BHBiz Awards. Each well planned members meeting enables good networking opportunities and speakers that are relevant to the present climate and local issues. We are proud to be members of BHBPA."

Wendy Agate, Community Fund Raising Manager
(St Peter & St James Hospice)

"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."
