News: Bike Thefts from Edwards

Posted on 25th October 2018

Hello Peter

Regrettably I can advise you that 3 bicycles were stolen from the site on Tuesday afternoon. We have some film from the CCTV so will be sharing this with the police. Some details here:

3 persons were seen approaching the bike racks at 16:18. They appear to come from the direction of the East corner pedestrian entrance at the corner of Innovation Drive and York Road. They checked out the area briefly then proceeded to begin the theft at 16:18:24 cutting locks from the Bikes . They leave the carpark via the east corner pedestrian entrance at 16:20:15 and can be seen cycling across innovation drive and heading off down York road.  2 of the persons involved were wearing caps but we think one was not. They appear to be male and late teens/early 20’s in age.

This may be of interest to others on the estate and just possibly they could have information, if so please contact me or Viv Pettman on reception 01444 253000.

Thanks/Regards
