Good Morning Peter
Reading through your recent newsletter I came across the article about the vans and individuals cruising the estate as magpies looking for some shiny gains, I thought I would share recently I noticed a white transit Luton high roof van drive in and disappear around the corner to the side of our unit. Curiosity and instinct got the better of me I went to take a look at where they were delivering to and sure enough there was one guy sat in the van and another out looking and going through some fencing on a pallet we had delivered for a job in Crawley and clearly was not resembling scrap !!
On challenging as to what was he doing his reply was ” Just having a look mate thinking about getting some for myself” with that got in the van and they zipped out of the yard.
This was at about 2 in the afternoon and they were on the take so to say. Van registration number was RX 04 XED. It may be of interest to some one.
On this note as you know I have two business at Victoria business centre Aprimatic Automation Ltd the security company, plus Spiral flooring Ltd, the flooring business, we have just taken over another unit in unit 5 to convert to a showroom for the Spiral Flooring business. This is to enable potential customers and public to visit.
As the Spiral flooring business is growing at a remarkable rate we are looking for flooring fitters either established fitters looking to increase their volume of work or trainees looking for a flooring apprenticeship, if there is any interest or help available we would be most grateful for the info.
"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.
It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"
"As MP for Mid Sussex I believe passionately in the importance of a vibrant local business community in order to create and sustain fantastic opportunities that enable people to meet their responsibilities, prosper and fulfil their potential. I am committed to collaborating with BHBPA and others to be an effective collective voice for Burgess Hill."
"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "
"The BHBPA is an energetic and vocal organisation that connects and empowers and informs the local business community acting as an effective conduit to local authority and other organisations. We are proud to be part of that community and the association."
