PART-TIME ACCOUNTANCY / ADMINISTRATOR – £10 per hour
Our long-term accountancy employee is leaving for personal reasons after a very long and efficient service to the company. This has resulted in a requirement for a new part time person to attend a minimum of 3 half days per week. Hours are flexible and subject to negotiation.
We have recently started to use Quick Books alongside our old cash book manual accounts system.
Applicants should have prior knowledge of Quick Books or similar software. Knowledge of book processing, Windows 10 and effective use of emails is essential.
We are a small but busy company, so flexibility is the key as well as multi-tasking.
The wages for this role will be paid on an hourly rate and holiday with be on a pro rata basis.
The position is for appointment starting in mid to late October 2018.

TRAINEE AUDIO VISUAL TECHNICIAN – £10,000 per year
This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic person to join our small team to assist on a wide range of audio visual permanent installations for a wide variety of clients, including houses of worship and educational establishments. As we are a small company your duties will also include assisting in our busy Hire department. Training will be given “on the job”. However, it is not just a job, we would like somebody who wants a career within our company and who has a thirst for knowledge (in AV, sound systems and lighting control).
We are looking for someone who will turn up to work with a ‘can do’ attitude and has a thirst for knowledge. There maybe occasions where you will have to stay late if a job over runs, so flexibility will be required.
The minimum age is 17 years and the salary will be based on an initial assessment of abilities, you will need to be fit and have a positive attitude.
INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN – £24,000 to £30,000 per year
The ideal candidates should have at least 3 years experience in the AV, sound and lighting industry. The work tasks are varied but include working for a wide range of clients on various installation sites in the UK.
Knowledge of video distribution systems, analogue and digital sound systems and DMX lighting control would be an advantage. We also require applicants to have CSCS and DBS certification or the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to obtain such certification. A clean driving licence is essential.
As a small company we naturally want employees with flexible attitude who are able to help in all activities including our busy Hire Department.
TSProfessional SOUND + LIGHT originally started trading in 1979. From 2005 we decided to expand our AV installations activities. This now represents 80% of our business. We offer good remuneration, 24 days annual paid holiday and company pension scheme.
