Monthly Update June 2018
It’s Sussex Living, but better! We’ve all been working really hard on a sleek new redesign for our June issue, so the magazine is looking fresh and fabulous. We hope you all agree! It’s still full of the same great features and regulars for you to enjoy, plus some new offerings as well such as Home Front, an inspirational and beautifully designed home profile feature.
We also have a new book review page, and Rolo the Border Terrier has joined the gang with his barking views on life! You will also find a special garden feature this month on Heaven scent gardens, providing not just a feast for your eyes but for your nose as well.
The beach patrol are out in Worthing keeping our shores and beaches safe – you can read all about them in the magazine. We’ve got history covered with a look at Thomas Paine in Lewes and how the Ordnance Survey maps came to be, and you can also find out about all your local community news and events too.
Gracing our cover this June is the stunning singing sensation Katherine Jenkins, who will be performing in Haywards Heath in July. Make sure you don’t miss this great concert!
Have an enjoyable June,
From all at Sussex Living
"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "
"As MP for Mid Sussex I believe passionately in the importance of a vibrant local business community in order to create and sustain fantastic opportunities that enable people to meet their responsibilities, prosper and fulfil their potential. I am committed to collaborating with BHBPA and others to be an effective collective voice for Burgess Hill."
"If Carlsberg did networking they would do it the BHBPA way. Each event is packed with great ideas, thought provoking presentations and fun. As a small business we feel supported and part of the community. We have built friendships and business relationships and there is always plenty of advice on hand to benefit us all so don’t hesitate to join whatever the nature of your business. "
"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"
