Mental Health in the workplace

An easy & simple way to invest in the mental health & wellbeing of your staff…  locally.

One in six workers will be experiencing depression, anxiety or another mental health issue right now, with 91 million working days lost each year due to mental health issues. We are experts in handling mental health issues in the workplace and have developed a range of services to help employers identify mental health issues amongst their staff and to develop the skills and knowledge to manage them.

Mental Health First Aid Training – Two day course

This two-day course, backed by MHFA England, will train your employees to become a Mental Health First Aider, and give them an in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect well-being.  They’ll learn how to recognise the warning signs, develop the skills and confidence to reassure a person in distress and give them the knowledge to signpost to further support

* Learn how to provide support and reassurance through enhanced interpersonal skills and non-judgemental listening

Testimonials

"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"

Bruce Millington, Manager
(Sutton Winson Ltd)

"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "

Judi Arditi, Director
(Travail Employment Group)

"Since joining BHBPA we have found it to be a dynamic and vibrant members’ organisation, with excellent, regular and informative meetings.

Peter Liddell does a first class job in ensuring that members’ interests are aired and addressed.
"

Mark O'Shea, Partner
(Rawlison Butler)

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "

Steve Cridland, CEO
