News: Footgolf at Mid Sussex

Posted on 14th March 2018

Dear Friends,

Last year the hospice held two Footgolf tournaments, which were both really successful, and not only raised around £3,500, but were enjoyed by all who participated.

Because of the success of these events, we are holding another Footgolf Tournament on Thursday 17 May, again at Mid Sussex Golf Club, starting at 5.00pm, and we wanted to let you know in case your company would be interested in participating by putting up a team of four people. All the details are on the attached flyer, and if you are interested, a booking form is also attached, which we would like back by 30 April at the latest, together with the entry fee, which includes the game and a meal afterwards. Places are limited, so please confirm your booking as soon as you can.

Even if you can’t get up a team to play, we are looking for sponsorship again, which as before is £25 a hole, as well as “Silent Auction” and raffle prizes for the event.

Once again, many thanks for your generosity in the past and we hope we may see you on the Footgolf course, or as supporters of the event.

Best wishes,

Neil

Testimonials

"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""

Peter Hook, Manager
(Computer Systems Engineers)

"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"

Bruce Millington, Manager
(Sutton Winson Ltd)

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "

Steve Cridland, CEO
(Burgess Hill Town Council)

"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."
