A family run organisation with emphasis on service, reliability and an extensive product range that includes educational equipment, storage solutions and furniture. Customers include major educational institutions across the South of the UK.

Overseeing the day-to-day efficient operations of the busy warehouse. Ensuring the safe and accurate storage of all products within the warehouse. Initially started as an overnight parcel sorter, receiving promotion after only 6 months for this courier organisation. The scope of roles and contributions to the business included:
Multi-drop Driver: Sorting parcels and planning the most time and petrol efficient routes. Completing multidrop deliveries in the morning and collecting from customers in the afternoon. Full record keeping of all deliveries and collections. Operations Manager: Responding to customer queries via the telephone; liaising with other depots in the network; assisting with banking on a daily basis; operating a fork-lift and loaded the trunker as needed; key holder responsibilities.
2005 – 2006: Hardy Carpets (Retail) SHOP MANAGER
A role of responsibility working alone, dealing mainly with carpet sales received from partner company:
Helped to set up shop including decorating and adding fixtures and fittings. Liaised daily with partner shop. Keyholder.

Health: Excellent; as a non-smoker and teetotaller, I’ve only had 4 days sickness in the last 10 years which was due to an emergency appendix operation but was back at work within 48 hours!
