On January 27th we attended the annual awards for the Travail network of franchises and house branches from across the whole UK. It’s a national event celebrating the achievements of the company in 2017 and this year was held in the famous Belfry Hotel & Golf resort in Sutton Coldfield.
I am delighted to tell you that we came away with a clutch of awards and pretty much swept the board on the night. Highlights included Elle winning “Administrator of the Year”, Lauren reaching finalist in “Consultant of the Year”, a special recognition for our outstanding branch performance and the announcement that we achieved the highest number of permanent placements in a year in the 40 year history of Travail Employment Group which we are particularly proud of given the critical shortage of good candidates looking for work in this current employment climate.
We are one of the smallest branches in terms of the number of employees however our work ethic and commitment to provide the best service we can for our fabulous clients means that we are able to be up there with the biggest players. We are exceptionally pleased to work with many, many of the BHBPA members and they have shown us loyalty, patience and support over the past year in particular. Many provided glowing testimonials to support the award nominations and I am very grateful for the kind words and comments made. The individual awards were fantastic but I know that all my staff will agree that the success we achieve is very much a team effort and I am so proud of each and every one of them.
Our aim for 2018 is to do the same again whilst reaching out to more companies in order to assist them with their recruitment.
