Mid Sussex Round-Off 2017 in Style!
Mid Sussex PA/EA/VAs & Office Managers rounded off 2017 with a meeting at the magnificent Worth Abbey School. The venue is set in 500 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside and an impressive group of PAs enjoyed a presentation from Stephanie Bradford of SMB Event Planning about Multi-Sensory Events, which gave us all a fascinating insight and lots of great ideas. Stephanie’s presentation not only ticked the box for our sight & hearing senses, but also ticked the box for our sixth sense… our brains!
Our taste sense was satisfied with delicious snacks, Prosecco and Orange Juice provided by the school and Jo Williams (PA to the FD) took us on a tour of the impressive facilities. We were lucky enough to visit one of the 6th Form commons rooms, which happens to be the room where the D-Day planning took place. There are still many monks involved with the running of the school and they still live in the Abbey. The school also boasts a 500-seater presentation theatre and many more rooms which can be hired for meeting space. We were lucky enough to visit on a beautiful evening which made the most of the stunning Sussex countryside views. There is also a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, astro-turf pitches and sports hall.
