News: Barclays Cyber Crime Seminar

Posted on 16th October 2017

Barclays are running one of our free Cyber Security Events for clients which is quite local to the members of the BHBPA as it will be happening at Mid Sussex Golf Club in Ditchling.

The bank is investing a lot on money with TV Adverts and these events in trying to educate clients on the various scams/frauds that we see all clients fall fowl of daily in an effort to help them protect their hard earned money.

This event is being run by the Barclays Digital Eagle Team and we will have one of our Digital experts delivering the presentation. It’s definitely an hour well spent as I know I have undertaken online Webinars by the same team with my clients over the past 9 months as those have helped clients spot and prevent at least 4 fraudulent attempts of nearly £100,000.

I have asked if we are able to open this to members of the BHBPA and the team have confirmed that they would be happy for any members who might like to attend to come along.

Testimonials

"The BHBPA is an energetic and vocal organisation that connects and empowers and informs the local business community acting as an effective conduit to local authority and other organisations. We are proud to be part of that community and the association."

Nick Broom, Managing Director
(PVL UK Ltd)

"If Carlsberg did networking they would do it the BHBPA way. Each event is packed with great ideas, thought provoking presentations and fun. As a small business we feel supported and part of the community. We have built friendships and business relationships and there is always plenty of advice on hand to benefit us all so don’t hesitate to join whatever the nature of your business. "

Angela Gill, Managing Director
(Bio Productions Ltd)

"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "

Judi Arditi, Director
(Travail Employment Group)

"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.

It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"

Susan Fleet, Managing Director
(Lea Graham Associates)
