News: Fund a BOLA

Posted on 11th October 2017

This year we are aiming to raise money to help fund the purchase of a BOLA Junior Bowling Machine. It’s a portable bowling machine that will allow us to improve indoor net sessions over winter and during the summer at outdoor practice. Our current machine is excellent, but we’re very much limited to using it in the outdoor nets. Taking a portable version to indoor nets will be hugely beneficial to our junior cricketer’s development.

How it works
• Donate £10 and Local Giving will match fund your donation with another £10!
• On top of this Gift Aid means we get an extra 25% of the donation back on top. So £10 becomes £22.50 for the club!
• Local Giving will match all one-time donations up to £10 until the funding runs out! So we have to be quick as charities up and down the country will be taking advantage of this initiative. There is a pot of £100,000 which will quickly disappear.
If you’re feeling super generous you are able to set-up a direct debit of £10 per month and Local Giving will match £10 per donation after you have donated six times. So £120 for example would become £195!

The initiative starts next Tuesday 17th at 10am and remember we have to be quick as the funding pot will quickly run out. You can make a donation by clicking this link or hitting the big button below and don’t forget to click the box for Gift Aid.

REMEMBER. Please don’t donate before Tuesday 17th 10am otherwise matched funding will not apply!

Massive thanks in advance

"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"

Bruce Millington, Manager
(Sutton Winson Ltd)

"Since joining BHBPA we have found it to be a dynamic and vibrant members’ organisation, with excellent, regular and informative meetings.

Peter Liddell does a first class job in ensuring that members’ interests are aired and addressed.

Mark O'Shea, Partner
(Rawlison Butler)

"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""

Peter Hook, Manager
(Computer Systems Engineers)

"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."
