News: Burgess Hill to feature in Platinum Business Magazine

Posted on 20th September 2017

The prestigious Platinum Business Magazine is launching a brand new feature called ‘A Town Focus’, and they have chosen Burgess Hill as their first subject. They wish to show something of the history of the town and the businesses which are in the town today. They have noticed that Burgess Hill is an area rich with excellent businesses, attractive to all types of companies, from SMEs to international and global players, and wish to make others aware of the success of the business community here. They will even give a mention to the BHBPA – Business Development Director Lesley Alcock had a chat with me earlier this week – in their November edition.

Of course, they need some advertising revenue in return, and that’s where you come in. You should take the chance to get your business out there via Platinum Business by taking an advert with them for November’s edition featuring Burgess Hill.  The costs of adverts are:- Quarter Page £195, Half Page £300, Full Page £500.

Do have a think about taking advertising space, as the magazine goes out to 235,000 subscribers, plus 123,000 online readers. It is a prestigious publication. If you wish to take up this opportunity of advertising space, then contact Lesley Alcock, the Business Development Director, on 07767 613707, or  lesley@platinumbusinessmagazine.com

I hope that some of you will take up this opportunity to get your business name out there a bit further, as I feel the businesses of Burgess Hill are worth shouting about and that this business community deserves some recognition in a wider context.

Testimonials

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "

Steve Cridland, CEO
(Burgess Hill Town Council)

"If Carlsberg did networking they would do it the BHBPA way. Each event is packed with great ideas, thought provoking presentations and fun. As a small business we feel supported and part of the community. We have built friendships and business relationships and there is always plenty of advice on hand to benefit us all so don’t hesitate to join whatever the nature of your business. "

Angela Gill, Managing Director
(Bio Productions Ltd)

"I am delighted to have a long-standing relationship with the BHBPA. Since its foundation the Association has gone from strength to strength and there is no doubt that it has brought huge benefits to its members and the business community as a whole through the partnerships it has formed with the local authorities, Sussex Police and local organisations. It is paramount that Burgess Hill businesses have an effective collective voice."

The Hon Nicholas Soames MP

"The BHBPA is an energetic and vocal organisation that connects and empowers and informs the local business community acting as an effective conduit to local authority and other organisations. We are proud to be part of that community and the association."
