Sponsors announced for inaugural Burgess Hill Business Awards

Burgess Hill Business Parks Association has announced a slate of sponsors ahead of its inaugural BHBiz Awards.

The networking association’s first ever business awards ceremony will showcase the diverse services offered by its members, with flowers provided by Rosanne Florists, a media logo wall created by Fresh Display, logos by Preview and videography by Paul Noble Photographic.

Other member companies will also be supporting individual awards categories. Ridgeview Wine Estate has been announced as sponsors of the ‘Bright Star’ award, while Mike Oliver Associates has lent its support to the ‘Community Champion’ category.

Handelsbanken, Heights Health Club, Bio Productions, MCL Telecom, First Recruitment, Bennett Christmas, Wellesley and Time 24 round off the list of category sponsors.

Paul Shearing, Chairman of BHBPA, said: “The BHBiz Awards were designed with our members firmly in mind. It’s an opportunity for them to network, gain recognition for their teams, and a chance to have some fun.

We’re really pleased that they’ve embraced the idea. When we announced the awards, we were delighted how quickly the sponsorships were taken – within a few days!”

In addition to award category sponsors, several other member companies have been announced as part of the event’s organising committee: Autowise, Lea Graham Associates, Preview and Ridgeview Wine Estate.

Travail Employment Group, meanwhile, will provide the evening’s guest speaker Tony Cottey, a former Welsh cricketer who played for Glamorgan, Sussex and Eastern Transvaal in a career lasting almost twenty years.

“The BHBiz Awards are shaping up to be something really special, and a little bit different,” said Peter Liddell, Co-ordinator of BHBPA. “The Brighton Amex Stadium is the ideal venue for a showstopping event and now that nominations are closed, we’re excited to see the judges’ decisions – although these will be a closely guarded secret until the evening.”

Burgess Hill Business Park Association’s BHBiz Awards take place at 18:15 on Friday 5 May in the MayoWynneBaxter suite at the Amex Stadium. Tickets are available from: esther.dawson@bhbpa.co.uk.

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "
