News: Ladies Cricket at B Hill

Posted on 2nd November 2016

We are delighted to announce that the Club is looking to establish a ladies adult team to play games of cricket next season. We must stress that these games will focus on everyone having fun, enjoying a game of cricket, together with the social side of the game. Absolutely no previous experience is necessary. We are having a practice session on Monday the 14th November in Oakmeeds Sports Hall (the big hall at the rear of the school) from 8.00 pm until 9.00 pm for anyone who is interested in taking part in a game .

No previous experience is required, no kit is required and we will be using a soft ball. We already have some 7 ladies who have expressed an interest so don’t worry, you will not be on your own if you turn up. If you want to have a go, please email Alec Hepburn at a-hepburn@sky.com or the club at burgesshillcc@gmail.com for more information.

Our aim is for everyone to have some fun whilst learning a little about the game that your son and daughter play.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Many thanks

Testimonials

"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "

Judi Arditi, Director
(Travail Employment Group)

"I am delighted to have a long-standing relationship with the BHBPA. Since its foundation the Association has gone from strength to strength and there is no doubt that it has brought huge benefits to its members and the business community as a whole through the partnerships it has formed with the local authorities, Sussex Police and local organisations. It is paramount that Burgess Hill businesses have an effective collective voice."

The Hon Nicholas Soames MP

"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""

Peter Hook, Manager
(Computer Systems Engineers)

"The BHBPA is an energetic and vocal organisation that connects and empowers and informs the local business community acting as an effective conduit to local authority and other organisations. We are proud to be part of that community and the association."
