Packed programme of practical advice and actionable ideas hits the mark with local businesses
Over 150 visitors attended ‘Digital and You’ at The King’s Centre in Burgess Hill on Tuesday 18th October, to hear insider tips from leading specialists in SEO, social media, digital marketing and cloud solutions. Provided by the Open 4 Business initiative of Mid Sussex District Council and digital media agency Purple Rose Digital, the event comprised an afternoon of inspiring talks by speakers from national, award-winning companies such as RocketMill, Pure360 and Cloud Solutions, as well as experts from Hilton Sharp & Clarke, Social Brighton and Digital Davidson. Exhibitors from a mix of local and national digital companies were on hand to answer questions and showcase their business.
Jonathan Ash-Edwards, the newly appointed Deputy Leader at Mid Sussex District Council and Cabinet Member for Economic Development & Finance, commented, “We are committed to supporting every business in our region and making them aware of the key areas of digital technology which will help them boost efficiency, reach new customers and improve profitability.
“We were thrilled to have secured so many prestigious digital thought leaders and organisations to be part of Digital & You. Thank you to the event’s sponsors – Gatwick Diamond Business, Sussex University and Federation of Small Businesses – to Purple Rose Digital for providing exceptional media and event management – and to the exhibitors who all contributed to making this such a success.”
