News: Burgess Hill Town face Dover in FA Cup

Posted on 13th October 2016

Hillians to Face Dover Athletic tomorrow.

Burgess Hill Town FC have been drawn at home in the Emirates FA Cup 4th Qualfying Round to Dover Athletic.

The tie will be played tomorrow, October 15th, kick-off 3pm.

Dover Athletic play their football in the Vanarama National League and currently sit in 9th place. Last season they finished in the play off places but failed to get through into the Football League. They have been somewhat inconsistent so far this season, having already beaten leaders Forest Green at home,  but having lost 5-0 away at Chester and conceded another four at Gateshead in defeat last week.

Burgess Hill beat Leatherhead last week at home and have drawn five of their eleven Ryman Premier league games to date, losing only twice.  They sit comfortably in mid table.

Dover are a well supported club and will bring a lot of support with them to Burgess Hill for this game to decide which club goes into the draw with the Football League clubs. The game is being sponsored by BHBPA member Keymer Double Glazing.

Ticket prices are as follows

Adults £10, Concessions £6, U18’s Free

Season tickets and 400 club are not valid for this game- all pay.

The sponsors for the game are Keymer Double Glazing. See the poster below.

"Regular, well organised events, excellent updates and information by email along with a warm welcome from the Chair and Coordinator are just some of the positives at BHBPA."

Mike Oliver, Owner
(Mike Oliver Associates)

"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.

It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"

Susan Fleet, Managing Director

"If Carlsberg did networking they would do it the BHBPA way. Each event is packed with great ideas, thought provoking presentations and fun. As a small business we feel supported and part of the community. We have built friendships and business relationships and there is always plenty of advice on hand to benefit us all so don’t hesitate to join whatever the nature of your business. "
