Where Cricket Meets…

Our ‘Where Cricket Meets…’ series of events support local charities and are headlined by a special guest. We have welcomed stars from the worlds of both sport and entertainment to the 1st Central County Ground to talk about their lives and careers.

November will see the return of the ‘Where Cricket Meets… Beaujolais Nouveau’ event on Thursday 17th November. The French celebration themed lunch will see entertainment from comedians Jim Tavare and Ian Moore as well as some live music from local musician Hannah Renton.

The event, in aid of The Sussex Cricket Foundation, will start at 12pm in The Focus Group Boundary Rooms at The 1st Central County Ground. Tickets are just £50 per person or £450 inc. VAT for a table of 10.

Testimonials

"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.

It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"

Susan Fleet, Managing Director
(Lea Graham Associates)

"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"

Bruce Millington, Manager
(Sutton Winson Ltd)

"The BHBPA is a fantastic hub for our business community to get together and catch up, discuss important local issues and connect new and interesting enterprises."

Oliver Lashley , Director
(Pure Storm Digital Services )

"As MP for Mid Sussex I believe passionately in the importance of a vibrant local business community in order to create and sustain fantastic opportunities that enable people to meet their responsibilities, prosper and fulfil their potential. I am committed to collaborating with BHBPA and others to be an effective collective voice for Burgess Hill."

Mims Davies MP, Member of Parliament for Mid Sussex
