Girls Under 13 – travelled to Horsham on Saturday in wet conditions to take on Ansty in the County Final having won their regional league. Katie Read top scored with 25 in Hill’s total of 91 but it was unfortunately not quite enough as Ansty won in the 18th over. Nonetheless a wonderful achievement by the girls who have made huge progress this season. You can read the full report here.

Presentation Evening Dinner and Dance – tickets are selling fast for the annual awards dinner, held on Saturday 15th October at Mid Sussex Golf Club, 7.30 pm. Tickets will cost £30 per person and will include a 3 course sit down meal followed by dancing to the Flaming Mojos. We expect the event to sell out and numbers are limited to around 90 people so book now to avoid disappointment. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the names of your party/family attending so that we can reserve your places.
As well as the adult awards we will be giving out on the evening the youth batsman and bowler of the year awards and the two U16 age group awards. We would therefore like to see as many youngsters and their parents as possible attending the evening. U16 and below tickets are priced at £20.
"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""
"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."
"I am delighted to have a long-standing relationship with the BHBPA. Since its foundation the Association has gone from strength to strength and there is no doubt that it has brought huge benefits to its members and the business community as a whole through the partnerships it has formed with the local authorities, Sussex Police and local organisations. It is paramount that Burgess Hill businesses have an effective collective voice."
"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "
