Dear Burgess Hill Business Park Association Member
The Burgess Hill Academy Launch Event
It is with great pleasure that we write to invite you to the launch of The Burgess Hill Academy on Tuesday 27 September 2016 from 6pm to 7.30pm.
We would like to share our vision for creating an outstanding academy for the Burgess Hill community. The school – formerly Oakmeeds Community College – joined the University of Brighton Academies Trust on 1 September, entering an exciting new phase of its history focused on inspiring, motivating and enthusing young people to meet their potential.
The evening will commence with a drinks reception at 6pm, followed by presentations at 6.30pm from Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive of the University of Brighton Academies Trust and Principal Jon Francies. After which there will be a Q&A session, and the opportunity to view a model classroom and a display of improvements planned for the school buildings.
We would be extremely grateful if you could RSVP by no later than Friday 16 September to email@example.com or 01444 251689. Please advise us of any special mobility or dietary requirements.
Jon Francies Principal
"Regular, well organised events, excellent updates and information by email along with a warm welcome from the Chair and Coordinator are just some of the positives at BHBPA."
"If Carlsberg did networking they would do it the BHBPA way. Each event is packed with great ideas, thought provoking presentations and fun. As a small business we feel supported and part of the community. We have built friendships and business relationships and there is always plenty of advice on hand to benefit us all so don’t hesitate to join whatever the nature of your business. "
"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.
It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"
"As the local hospice for the area, it’s great that we receive so much support from the BHBPA. Last year the members raised an amazing £2150 through activities such as Bake Off and the BHBiz Awards. Each well planned members meeting enables good networking opportunities and speakers that are relevant to the present climate and local issues. We are proud to be members of BHBPA."
