News: Affinity Sutton Looking for Placements

Posted on 14th July 2016

I wonder if you could help?

Part of my role with Affinity Sutton is to look for vacancies, apprenticeships and work placements for people that we are helping to support into work.

Our service is free to companies, and voluntary to the residents we work with.

At this moment in time, I am looking for an Apprenticeship for a young lad within a “hands on” type role, a Work placement for up to eight weeks for someone who eventually wants to repair computers and work within this environment, and have several people looking for warehouse vacancies.

I’d like to link more with the businesses of Burgess Hill to see if we can support them find ideal candidates for positions they have.

Is there anyway I could attend a meeting, or potentially be including within your newsletter?

Last year nationwide we helped over 1,000 people into work, and over a 100 apprentices

Testimonials

"If Carlsberg did networking they would do it the BHBPA way. Each event is packed with great ideas, thought provoking presentations and fun. As a small business we feel supported and part of the community. We have built friendships and business relationships and there is always plenty of advice on hand to benefit us all so don’t hesitate to join whatever the nature of your business. "

Angela Gill, Managing Director
(Bio Productions Ltd)

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "

Steve Cridland, CEO
(Burgess Hill Town Council)

"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "

Judi Arditi, Director
(Travail Employment Group)

"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""

Peter Hook, Manager
