News: Marshalls wanted – urgent!

Marshals needed for Star Walk  (Breakfast Included!) on Saturday 9th July, Haywards Heath for St Peter & St James Hospice

Can you spare a few hours to help marshal at St Peter & St James Hospice’s Star Walk around Haywards Heath?

The marshals play a vital roles – ensuring that walkers along the 10km route know where they are going and feel supported.

The event is the biggest fundraiser for our local Hospice and raises around £35,000 – but it can only happen with support!

 

Marshals need to be:

–          Available between 9.30pm – 1am on Saturday 9th July (yes we know it’s a little late / early – but it’s for a good cause)

–          18 years or older & have a mobile phone

–          Able to get to the Dolphin Leisure Centre in Haywards Heath and ideally have their own car (useful but not essential)

–          All marshals will work in pairs – so ideally volunteer with a friend – or we can match you with someone in advance.

 

Every marshal receives breakfast & coffee and a Star Walk 2016 memento – plus you’ll be part of an amazing event and helping us raise money to look after local people and families that the Hospice is a lifeline for in very difficult times.
