News: MCL Supporting Hospice

Posted on 4th May 2016

MCL Telecoms Ltd Burgess Hill is supporting St Peters and St James Hospice and continuing care.

We need your support, come and help us achieve our fundraising target by joining us on this fun Pedal Power and Frolics fundraising day on Friday May 27th.

We have currently 4 bikes running side by side, each slot is £5.00 and 15 minutes long.  We need as many businesses to book out the slots which will contribute to the total raised and along side asking for donations to encourage us to complete the challenge via our just giving page www.justgiving.com/MCLfundraising.

All the money raised will be going to St Peter and St James Hospice, a charity very close to our hearts. Any slots that aren’t filled will have to be done by a few of us here (who have already booked an hour’s worth each!) so please book as many as you can.

To allow other members of staff to get involved we are also doing office frolics! Offices are challenged to get dressed up for the day for £2 each and the best dressed office wins £150 worth of pizza!! So far we have 6 offices already signed up and we are hoping for at least 4 more!

So far we have raised £1,250 of our target of £5,000! We need more donations and more people to take part to make it a really fantastic event!

Kind Regards

Testimonials

""BHBPA is a really well organised and run group, great for networking and benefitting from knowledgeable local speakers with real business insight. Peter brings enthusiasm and humour which helps drive the association forward. I am glad to be part of it.""

Dave Farmer, German Translator
(Dave Farmer & Co)

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "

Steve Cridland, CEO
(Burgess Hill Town Council)

"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."

"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"

Bruce Millington, Manager
