News: Tax Interitance Planning

Posted on 20th April 2016

Kingston Smith LLP are running a FREE seminar on April 26th to discuss Inheritance Tax planning.

When weighing up tax efficient Inheritance Tax planning against a comfortable retirement, your objective should be to achieve both.

Developing a strategy for IHT and your later life is not a priority for many. Later life, post-retirement, however you think of it, can be 20-30+ years and so typical retirement funds can be exhausted at the very time that you need the most financial support.

The most difficult step you can take is to recognise that you do need a defined strategy to balance your later life planning with IHT efficiency. Our seminar will help you to start the process, or where you have already started, help you to review and update your thinking.

Date: Tuesday 26 April

Time: 1:30pm Tea and Coffee, 2:00pm start. Finish 3:15pm, followed by refreshments

Venue: Bletchingley Golf Club, Church Lane, Bletchingley, Surrey RH1 4LP

Cost: Free

Testimonials

"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "

Judi Arditi, Director
(Travail Employment Group)

"I am delighted to have a long-standing relationship with the BHBPA. Since its foundation the Association has gone from strength to strength and there is no doubt that it has brought huge benefits to its members and the business community as a whole through the partnerships it has formed with the local authorities, Sussex Police and local organisations. It is paramount that Burgess Hill businesses have an effective collective voice."

The Hon Nicholas Soames MP

"As MP for Mid Sussex I believe passionately in the importance of a vibrant local business community in order to create and sustain fantastic opportunities that enable people to meet their responsibilities, prosper and fulfil their potential. I am committed to collaborating with BHBPA and others to be an effective collective voice for Burgess Hill."

Mims Davies MP, Member of Parliament for Mid Sussex

"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."
