News: Award Winning St Catherine’s Hospice

Posted on 6th January 2016

Celebrate with us!

We are delighted to announce that St Catherine’s was recently crowned Charity of the Year at the West Sussex County Times Community Awards. We were also at the event to cheer on our dedicated volunteer, Joe Brocking, as he won Volunteer of the Year. We are very proud to have won these awards which are a real endorsement of the fantastic work that our staff and volunteers provide to the local community. We simply wouldn’t be able to achieve this without your support, so a huge thank you from everyone here at St Catherine’s Hospice.

Together we can continue this award winning work

If you would like to make it your New Years resolution to motivate your staff and clients and put community engagement at the heart of your work, we would be delighted to discuss how we can collaborate in 2016. Testimonials

"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""

Peter Hook, Manager
(Computer Systems Engineers)

""BHBPA is a really well organised and run group, great for networking and benefitting from knowledgeable local speakers with real business insight. Peter brings enthusiasm and humour which helps drive the association forward. I am glad to be part of it.""

Dave Farmer, German Translator
(Dave Farmer & Co)

"The BHBPA is the most effective and dynamic business organisation I have ever worked with in over 30 years in Local Government. It has a very active and large membership whose points of view are taken seriously by all government structures. Peter Liddell does an excellent job in providing unique and enjoyable networking opportunities where members interact and discuss points of mutual interest. It provides a forum for businesses to discuss common issues, to share experiences and to play a powerful and meaningful role in the Burgess Hill community. The BHBPA provides important and credible support for all its members and ensures that their best interests are represented where necessary. "

Steve Cridland, CEO
(Burgess Hill Town Council)

"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"

Bruce Millington, Manager
(Sutton Winson Ltd)
