After a couple of months deliberating, designing and building, the new BHBPA website has gone live this week. You can see it when you go to www.bhbpa.co.uk as before. The old website, which served us well for nearly seven years, looked rather tired. The new one, on the other hand, is responsive and looks more fluid, exciting and modern. We now have full control over all the content. I hope you will agree upon the improvement.
Of course there are changes and understandably there have been some teething issues when I came to write this newsletter, but we are very pleased with the work Preview Graphics have done, and have to thank Wes Earp in particular for his efforts on our behalf. You will find that there is no longer a password protected members area, nor is there a forum. It was decided that each were no longer necessary. You can still find a list of member companies, and if you click on the name you will be taken straight to their website. As for the Forum, we had had no posting on there since 2012!
Do take a look and if you have a minute get back to me with comments – a kind of review as it were. By the same token, if you approve and would like to give me a testimonial to put on the site, please feel free to do so.
"As MP for Mid Sussex I believe passionately in the importance of a vibrant local business community in order to create and sustain fantastic opportunities that enable people to meet their responsibilities, prosper and fulfil their potential. I am committed to collaborating with BHBPA and others to be an effective collective voice for Burgess Hill."
"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"
"I am delighted to have a long-standing relationship with the BHBPA. Since its foundation the Association has gone from strength to strength and there is no doubt that it has brought huge benefits to its members and the business community as a whole through the partnerships it has formed with the local authorities, Sussex Police and local organisations. It is paramount that Burgess Hill businesses have an effective collective voice."
"“I have belonged to this group since I started my own business, Lea Graham Associates, in 1986. The association has been through several incarnations since then, but its most recent one, BHBPA, is by far the best.
It’s much more than just a networking group, although it is supremely good at that too. BHBPA is inclusive and friendly and acts like a mutual-support society. The events are stimulating, worthwhile and often great fun and I believe most members share this opinion.”"
