Free Entry for Children at Plumpton Racecourse’s 2010 totesport Easter Racing Festival
Plumpton Racecourse is set for its biggest meeting of the year with the popular two-day totesport Easter Racing Festival on Easter Sunday, 4th April and Bank Holiday Easter Monday, 5th April.
Accompanied Children under 16 enjoy free entry, and with admission prices starting from only £10 for Adults it’s a great value day out for all the family. There are plenty of entertainments in addition to the racing, including a traditional funfair in the centre of the course, Easter Activity Centre and Creche, Easter Egg Trail, and Mobile Zoo.
Chief Executive Claire Sheppard said “Plumpton’s Easter Festival is an ideal day to bring the family racing. It has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and many racegoers enjoy bringing their own picnics into the centre of the course for a day out in the glorious Sussex countryside. You can book a table in advance for a delicious 3 course lunch, or choose from a selection of food outlets including a delicious Hog Roast or local sausage BBQ.”
With many thousands expected to attend, racegoers are advised to arrive early or travel by train as Plumpton train station is adjacent to the racecourse.
Doors open from 11am on both days, with the first race on Easter Sunday at 2pm and Easter Monday at 2.30pm.
