March Crime Update
Travellers are still parked illegally on land between CAE and Roche off Charles Avenue. They arrived there on Friday last week and as far as I know are still there. The police have been monitoring the situation. They are the same families who have been moving around the town over the last month.
Meanwhile, several catalytic converters have been stolen from vans in the town, and a car has been stripped of useful parts in Victoria Road during the last couple of weeks.
As far as the Business parks are concerned it would be a smart move to go with an all-embracing security system, including night patrols and guarding. At night there is very little to prevent people doing as they please, without fear of interruption, which is a very worrying situation.
