Gordon to meet Penina
Great start for 2010
Yes Prime Minister!
Penina Shepherd, Managing Director of ACUMEN BUSINESS LAW, has been invited by the Prime Minister to 10 Downing Street for an evening reception on Thursday 11 February 2010!!!
The event is to celebrate the success of Britain’s small to medium sized businesses and our own BHBPA Member, Penina Shepherd, was one of the selected few invited to mark the occasion.
We will keep you updated and will share our photos of Penina with Gordon if we get them.
IoD Director of the Year for London & the South East Award
And as if that wasn’t enough, ACUMEN BUSINESS LAW has just been informed that Penina has been shortlisted by the Institute of Directors as one of three finalists to win this prestigious award.
She was (secretly!) nominated for the award and it was not by any member of staff (or family….). So the culprit is unknown and still out there!
The Director of the Year saw 300 people nominated, with 18 finalists chosen in 6 different categories meaning she is in the top 5%!
The winner will be announced at a Gala Awards Dinner on Tuesday 23rd March 2010 in the Grand Ballroom of the prestigious Landmark Hotel, London.
2010 Started with a Bang
Judging by this fantastic news, 2010 looks set to be an exciting year for ACUMEN BUSINESS LAW, building on the 2009 success stories including being named in the Financial Times Top 50 Innovative Lawyers in the UK and Europe and being shortlisted for three Sussex Business Awards.
