Although this organisation began as a group of interested parties working for companies on the Victoria Business Park in Burgess Hill, membership of the BHBPA has never been limited to those companies which are situated on the business parks. Indeed, we welcome members from all local areas who have an interest in doing business with other members in the Burgess Hill area.
Membership requires a company to complete a simple form giving contact details and a few other basic facts about the company. The BHBPA policy on information such as this is in line with data protection law. We shall not give out lists of details of company members, although of course we shall help members where possible with contact numbers and addresses of individual other members.
In becoming a member you will be required to pay an annual membership subscription, which is nowadays tiered so that larger companies pay more. The subscription levels are :-
1-10 employees – £120 pa
11-50 employees – £240 pa
51+ employees £360 pa
Invoices run from January to December. Members may pay by Standing Order each month, and many do pay this way now.
A new member is entitled to an article of introduction in the weekly newsletter and to have the company name added to the list of members in the Directory.
Members of the BHBPA are entitled to come to meetings, most of which are free to attend. They are also entitled to take a stand at the annual exhibition (“Burgess Hill Means Business”) at a much reduced rate. Members are asked not to bombard other members with advertising emails and to respect the name of the BHBPA.
