As The Apprentice continues to hit headlines, West Sussex EBP have managed to secure the original star of the show, Ruth Badger, to open our annual conference, Grow Your Own, to be held at Virgin Atlantic's The Base in Crawley on the 11th June.

The event aims to inspire businesses to work with young people and discover how they can make a real and positive difference to business success. It will showcase the talents of local students, and encourage business to get involved with their local community.

On the day, there will be a variety of workshops to participate in, including:
•    Brilliant basics and magic touches: Customer Service Workshop led by students trained specifically for the day by Virgin Atlantic.
•    The Marketing Challenge: Challenge our marketing students with a real life marketing dilemma you or your company are facing in this highly interactive workshop. Led by Matt Gardner from Synapsis Solutions and students from Bognor Regis Community College.
•    Survive and Thrive in tough times: Workshop from Business Link
•    Grow your business with Social Networking: Workshop with Business Week's 'Entrepreneur of the Year 2007' Raj Anand
