I hear a lot about pallets! Is there some mileage in getting together to try to source, re-source and recycle locally via this forum?

This idea may have legs.
As a manufacturer we receive a lot of different size pallets but have to dispatch on 1000 x 1200 double entry type. If there was an interest in pooling pallets I'm sure either a local service would be interested in moving them about, or we could perhaps post our requirements and/or our surplus on this site to facilitate collections and/or exchanges between members.

We use Euro Pallets (1200x800mm) which we buy or scrounge!
If anyone on the BH Ind Estates has Euro Pallets surplus to requirements I am more than happy to collect them in our van or on our trailer, depending on quantity. I am willing to pay for good quality clean Euro Pallets.

The Mid Sussex Wood Recycling Project is a social enterprise that recycles waste timber. We collect wood packaging waste from a number of businesses on the Burgess Hill Business Parks including HPC, Nimbus and Newman Thomson.
