Date: 13 June 2018, Time: 5pm start, Venue: Ridgeview Wine Estate, Fragbarrow Lane, Ditchling Common BN6 8TP
One of our favourite events of the year is the visit to Ridgeview. This year, in glorious June, we shall have a stroll amongst the vines, weather permitting, a brief tour of the winery and a tasting session of delicious Ridgeview sparkling wines. This event is free to members, thanks to the generosity of the Ridgeview owners.
We also have a speaker, Bruce Jenner, Director of Loch Health, who has over 30 years’ experience managing both physical and mental health in the Army and NHS A&E departments. His time spent on the front lines of combat zones and emergency care taught him the importance of proactive health and wellness management in avoiding and managing mental health risks. He now brings this experience to the workplace through innovative mental health and stress management training.
"Since joining BHBPA we have found it to be a dynamic and vibrant members’ organisation, with excellent, regular and informative meetings.
Peter Liddell does a first class job in ensuring that members’ interests are aired and addressed.
"If Carlsberg did networking they would do it the BHBPA way. Each event is packed with great ideas, thought provoking presentations and fun. As a small business we feel supported and part of the community. We have built friendships and business relationships and there is always plenty of advice on hand to benefit us all so don’t hesitate to join whatever the nature of your business. "
"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"
"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."
