Event: Speed Networking at BH Academy

Date: 08 March 2018, Time: 8am till 10.30, Venue: The Burgess Hill Academy, Station Rd, BH, RH159EA

I would like to invite you to attend our Speed Networking event on Thursday 8th March.

The event is aimed at assisting our Year 9 students in choosing their GCSE options.  Working on the basis of Speed Dating, groups of 3/4 students have the opportunity to question an employer who is only allowed to answer yes/no.  The student will then guess the employer’s occupation and then the employer has a few minutes to explain their job and the qualifications needed for it.  This event takes approximately 2 hours of your time and a networking breakfast will be held prior to this.

There will be two sessions – one starting at 8.50am and the second at 9.50am.  The networking breakfast will be available from 8am.

I would be very grateful to hear from anyone in your company who is able to spare the time to assist with one/both of these sessions.

Kind regards,

Linda     ldorgan@theburgesshillacademy.org.uk

Testimonials

"“I can’t speak highly enough of the BHBPA. As a small local business we feel very much part of a community and thoroughly enjoy the annual exhibition and meetings throughout the year. Over the years we have built fantastic working relationships with many BHBPA members and every meeting and event offers us opportunities to work with more. This is networking at its best! ” "

Judi Arditi, Director
(Travail Employment Group)

"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"

Bruce Millington, Manager
(Sutton Winson Ltd)

"The BHBPA is an energetic and vocal organisation that connects and empowers and informs the local business community acting as an effective conduit to local authority and other organisations. We are proud to be part of that community and the association."

Nick Broom, Managing Director
(PVL UK Ltd)

"This association was started with a lot of effort from a few local businessmen and has proved to be a very powerful and useful tool for our business. The BHBPA has influence at the top level; when action is needed, the BHBPA gets it done. We are kept in touch with all that is happening on our doorstep and will often act because of what is published in the weekly emails / newsletters."
