News: FootGolf Success for The Hospice

Posted on 24th May 2018

Last week St Peter & St James Hospice held their annual Footgolf tournament at Mid Sussex Golf Club, They had ten teams taking part with Keymer Double Glazing putting  forward three teams! Sadly there was no team from the BHBPA this time around. It was a very pleasant and successful  evening and the magnificent sum of almost £1000 was raised for the Hospice.

The winning team was ‘the Avengers’ from Keymer Double Glazing.  The scores were really good as well  and the winning individual score of 29 by Dan of “The Avengers” was almost professional! That really was a great effort by all, but special mention to KDG for turning out in numbers to support the event.

Testimonials

"“We have been members of BHBPA from its inception, and seen the organisation steadily grow and expand into the dynamic entity it is today, bringing positive benefits to all its members.""

Peter Hook, Manager
(Computer Systems Engineers)

"“Sutton Winson have been members of the BHBPA for around 7 years. We have found it a great way to keep in touch with Burgess Hill businesses and to meet with likeminded people. It’s not just another “networking” group, as it tackles the real issues and gets things done”"

Bruce Millington, Manager
(Sutton Winson Ltd)

"If Carlsberg did networking they would do it the BHBPA way. Each event is packed with great ideas, thought provoking presentations and fun. As a small business we feel supported and part of the community. We have built friendships and business relationships and there is always plenty of advice on hand to benefit us all so don’t hesitate to join whatever the nature of your business. "

Angela Gill, Managing Director
(Bio Productions Ltd)

""BHBPA is a really well organised and run group, great for networking and benefitting from knowledgeable local speakers with real business insight. Peter brings enthusiasm and humour which helps drive the association forward. I am glad to be part of it.""
